Co-operation policy with agents and middlemen
Qualiteam International is interested to co-operate with agents and middlemen in the marketing of new and used equipment. Our policy is based on the following principles:
1. Co-operation in full transparency
First requirement for a transparent and successful co-operation is that we know the final customer. Our experience over the last 30 years has shown that hide-and-seek between middlemen and ourselves concerning the identity of the final customer has never resulted in a successful sale. We therefore require you to announce the identity of the final customer (minimum: name of the company and country) in your first demand. If we do not know the client, we will give you full customer protection. If we know the customer, we will clearly and in all honesty inform you so. Even if we know the customer, but we have no recent requirement emanating from this customer, we will grant you customer protection nevertheless.
2. Registration
Each demand for a piece of equipment on our site coming from a new potential customer is registered with the owners in order to protect your and our interest, unless we have total sales exclusivity from the owners (in which case no protection is needed, because protection is arranged in the exclusivity agreement).
3. Unlimited protection
Once customer protection has been agreed upon, the same customer remains related to the one who introduced that customer to Qualiteam International without time limit.
4. One customer, one demand
Each requirement for a final customer should be object of a separate demand (so, not: I need a 600 T, a 1200 T and a 3000 T press for customer X, Y and Z, but: customer X needs a 600 T press, customer Y a 1200 T press and customer Z needs a 3000 T press.
5. File numbers
Each customer gets a file number in our system starting with 3xxx. You are required to indicate this reference number in all your correspondence with us for easier processing (preferably in the "subject" of each E-mail).
6. Copy rights
You are not allowed to put our offers on your website, unless you have requested it and we have expressly allowed you to do so.
7. Commission
Unless expressly stipulated otherwise, our offers do not include commission for agents or middlemen. You will have to add your own commission.
8. Commission sharing
In case we agreed on commission sharing (i.e. our final price includes also commission for the agent or middleman), the commission to be shared is the commission that is left after deduction of direct imputable costs. Direct imputable costs are defined as travelling expenses to inspect the press abroad (air tickets, hotels, rent-a-car, meals), unforeseen expenses during dismantling or shipment of the goods (demurrage, documents, minor services, etc.) not paid by the final customer. These costs include both costs from Qualiteam International and the agent. Time spent, local travel and communication costs etc. are to be supported by each. When the costs of each party have been paid, the rest of the commission is shared according to the formula agreed upon.
